Mein enorm guter Freund Mehmet Aydın (hier im Schplock auch schon als Memo aufgetreten) hat, unter Einfluss der kürzlich stattgefunden habenden StuTS, die ja immer ein Biotop für linguistikbezogene Spielereien ist, eine großartige Serie von Hinweisschildern kreiert, die ich euch nicht vorenthalten will. So, without further ado:

Kudos to the Enormous Mehmet for this beautiful collection! My only objection: warning signs usually drop shit like „THIS“ and „IS“ for the sake of brevity. My personal favorites: the Baby Stroller and, of course, the Vowel Shift :) When will these be available on T-Shirts?
Also ich persönlich hoffe ja auf Aufkleber. Den Kinderwagen könnte man auch auf Lätzchen drucken … Mal schauen, wann Memo seinen Geschäftssinn entdeckt ;)
Yeah, I thought about just „Language under Construction“, but I decided against it because – well, I just very subjectively liked it better like this. And it’s my artwork, so you can object all you want, I don’t really care.
No, honestly: I thought „This language is inder construction“ was more direct, because it addresses people who (want to) use a language, telling them to be aware of its dynamic state. On the other hand, „Language under Construction“ just says that some language is being worked on here, maybe some obscure artificial language, which isn’t the point (although that can be fun, too).
As to the T-shirts: According to the license, you’re free to make one as long as you don’t sell it and you include my name as well as the license in some form.
Wenn die neue StuTS-Homepage etwas vorangeschritten ist, können wir ja überlegen, ob sie einen Merchandising-Shop bekommt. Die Göttinger haben ja schon gut vorgelegt mit dem Anmelde-/T-Shirt-Kauf-Formular.
Ach ja, und natürlich danke für das Lob *erröt*. Although I’m not sure I’m too happy about „the Enormous Mehmet“. I realise I’m overweight, but there’s no need for that kind of language.
My personal favourites are, in the order above, no. 8, 9 and 10, because they’re so meta.
Also mein Favorit kann ja eigentlich nur das Bäumchen sein.
